With stunning views of Mount Fuji, on clear days, Yamato Yutori no Mori Park is well worth a visit for those with children and families looking for fun and plenty of activities. Izumi no Mori is a park with plentiful nature and seasonal blooms such as cherry blossoms and Hikichidai Park with plenty of space to explore the gardens and foliage on offer.

Yamato is also well known for its Yamato Cultural Creation Center SiRiUS, a cultural complex which acts as a library, indoor children's open space and lifelong learning center with locals and visitors from various backgrounds can congregate and share experiences.
