Zushi

A coastal town in Kanagawa Prefecture famed for its beautiful beaches and laid back charm, Zushi is a welcome getaway from contemporary urban life. A hugely popular destination for swimmers, surfers and other marine sports, the area is used by Tokyoites and Kanagawa residents as a mini-holiday location and can get busy in the hot and humid summer months. Otherwise, a walk on the beaches of Zushi at any time of year is thoroughly recommended. Zushi is also a yachting and cruise town and has some marinas which add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the general ambiance. 

Zushi is also renowned for its international and cosmopolitan vibe and many foreign residents and tourists are known to visit the area and enjoy meeting the locals while enjoying the local food, drinks and seaside activities. It's a beautiful part of Kanagawa Prefecture and can be a much-needed oasis of calm.
