This unique zoo employs as few fences as possible so that visitors can see the animals living in an environment similar to their natural habitat. The zoo is divided into zones of different climates such as Asian Tropical Forest, Subarctic Forest, Amazon Jungle, Japanese Countryside and African Tropical Rain Forest. There is also a grass park and the “Wanpaku Forest” with play equipments. The zoo also includes a closed facility, Yokohama City Breeding Center, which was founded with the purpose of researching wildlife and contributing to the preservation of rare species.

One of the largest Chinatowns in the world having 140 years of history. More than 500 restaurants and shops fill an area of about 500 square meters. Known as one other three major Chinatowns in Japan along with those in Kobe and Nagasaki.

An interactive food education facility opened in Minato Mirai Area. This facility has various CUPNOODLES displays and do-it-yourself experience to enable visitors to enjoyably experience discovery and inventiveness. You can mix and match various soups and ingredients in a cup you designed to make your very own CUPNOODLES. There is also a CUPNOODLES Park where you can experience how CUPNOODLES products are manufactured by becoming a “noodles” and going through production until shipment from the factory.(The My Cup Noodle Factory requires a ticket or voucher.)

Nissan Yokohama Plant

Nissan Yokohama Plant

Nissan Yokohama Plant is the base for development and production of engine. It also manufactures suspensions and motors for EVs and hybrid cars. In the factory tour, visitors can see the production line of MR type engine. Nissan engine museum exhibits successive engines and 28 other engines that showed great performance in races.
